Catherine
Catherine qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 1994 and has held her surgical diploma since 2004.
Enjoying all aspects of soft tissue surgery and aiming to help all pets, Catherine established Visiting Vet Specialists in 2014.
In her spare time, Catherine is seen out dog walking, nature watching and enjoys the escapism of cinema and theatre.
Lisa
Lisa qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2001 and then went on to work in general practice for 5 years before moving over to referral nursing. Lisa joined Visiting Vet Specialists in 2017 and has a keen interest in anaesthesia and soft tissue surgery.
Lisa has a passion for travelling and during her career as a registered veterinary nurse, she has been lucky enough to travel and work/volunteer in various countries such as Peru, Africa, Thailand, Australia, and Grenada. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys hiking, gym classes and spending time with family and friends. In 2025, Lisa will embark on another long haul journey, so we wish her safe travels and exciting adventures, we look forward to her return.
Locum Nurses
From 2025, Catherine will be accompanied most weeks by two very highly qualified and experienced referral nurses Nicola and Paula.
With their support, coupled with the ongoing care and expertise of the practice nurses that have worked closely with Catherine over the years, we continue to keep your pets carefully monitored whilst under anaesthesia, appropriate pain relief administered and lots of reassuring cuddles given.
